About 3 days back, I got an email from Maritza Campos, creator of CRFH and a good friend to invite me to collaborate with her on a guest strip for PVP. Said strip was published by Scott today, and I’m fearing for the life of my server! The visit count is massive! It’s barely 7 am here, and this site has received more visits than every previous day. We’re getting visitors from all over the world and I’m happy as hell. -This is why I’m writing this in english.
To those of you are visiting here for the first time, welcome. I’m sorry the entire site is in spanish, I know you can`t read it right now, but I’m taking steps to remedy that very soon. For the moment, you can see the pretty pictures at the links above, and I hope you’ll come back soon, when I have an english version.
I should say, that back in 2008 when I first played with the idea of doing a webcomic, after nearly 20 years of working on the ‘serious’ side of the comicbook business, I became a fan first of the podcast ‘webcomics weekly’, Where Señores Kurtz, Guigar, Kellet and Straub explained the ins and outs of the webcomic business model. It was eye-opening to say the least. I’ve put to the test most of the concepts, ideas and experiences they explained on that podcast (and later the book).
Funnily enough I was first a fan of the podcast, and later became a fan of their strips. Specially PVP, to my tastes the better drawn.
I’m doubly grateful to Scott first for the inspiration to start doing webcomics, then to Maritza for proving that even from a country like Mexico, it is possible to make a living doing comics.
This is such a rush!
I hope you like the strip.

Bach, you are my hero. Keep up the good work!
After loving the art in PvP, I came here and suddenly noticed the dog in the header. After thinking, “…Vinny?” I rushed to the issue of MAD Magazine that my sister brought from her vacation in Cancun and am very happy to finally be following the creator of that beautiful comic. It was the one with Vinny’s smiling face on the cover, and his son lost his tail in the comic.
I’m not very good at Spanish, so it’s only natural that I also do a comic in English and Spanish, AND run a multilingual sound effects dictionary, heh heh. That magazine contributed several sound effects to the English-Spanish page.
I love your artwork! If you’re going to have an English translation soon, I’m definitely subscribing! I can’t wait!
